On Linkedin, I still found old wise words not to burn bridges with previous employers. Meanwhile, I found an interesting phenomena on socmed of how easy for Gen-Z to unfriend their college friends after graduations. Of course it’s a wise word. However, people could be getting careless with stay in touch with people.

Making circle to make things easier

Some year earlier, I also found some “college tips” from a student of a reputable university in Indonesia that if we don’t have circle, then “we are dead” says her according to the content she made. I don’t know, but I personally started to learn how fragile the college friendships these days and how it is mere getting more about the take and give thing.

In conclusion, I found that college students treat their peers as colleagues instead really as friends. As how people can easily burn bridges with previous employers, it’s getting easier for them to burn bridges with their friends. Align with how it’s easy for them and how it’s not something to be afraid of, to simply resign from companies when things not feel well.
