Hate this memory, but I learned something
Facebook reminds me that four years ago I participated in 1000 Start Up Digital. We went to important phase at that time at that event. At that event, I was pushed to join with the other people and I joined this other two guys. I eyed something bigger from this guy project, and it kinda relate with my own project.
To give my context, I started to consider my option. I wanted, or I have been wanting to expand, and move on from the thing I had build. To be able to attend this one phase, I even skipped the invitation to go to Manado from the Apresiasi Film Indonesia (my media was one of the nominees for the best media category).
During my short tenure for the team, I learned something about start up culture. You know, at that time I’d already tired of playing hero and wanting to make real business. The leader of the team, turned out saw another direction from me. It’s ok, it’s his own start up tho. The weird thing is that he didn’t accept that I want to make it real business that making revenues. That I have expectation that this start up could give prosperity for me (and other of course). I didn’t expect much. Just to keep it rolling and I have enough energy to run it together. Later on I was kicked from the team.
